Take Some Responsibility Will You?

By 2004, all of the elements of the current financial collapse had been in place for several years. The aggressive approach to enforcing the Jimmy Carter Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) started under Bill Clinton in 1998, and the seemingly endless appetite of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac had turned massive numbers of bad loans into mortgage-backed government securities and had spread like cancer throughout the system. In 2004, a year after the "Failed Policies of the Bush Administration" tried to tighten regulation and oversight on Fannie and Freddie, Congress was told yet again that disaster loomed. The Democratic response is very insightful to seeing who really is responsible in allowing this collapse to occur.

Now Im not pointing the finger at any party...... How ever I'm not going to let any finger pointing by any politician go unchecked. Politicians need to take the "Beam" out of their own eye first.

I Like Small Cars.

BMW Isetta

Rumor has it that BMW is considering entering the tiny car market with a new electric car. The new vehicle could wear the Isetta badge made popular on microcars from the past. "It'll be a car with a completely new look, with two engines available. One will be a very efficient combustion engine and the other will be a purely electric model," says Reithofer. Speculation is that the electric model will get over 200 miles per charge. What information is known what internal combustion engine is slated for the Isetta, but BMW has plenty of experience with small and efficient engines from its Motorcycle division. I like BMWs..... I really like this one.

Clothesline Update

Stacie has decided that hanging clothes on the clothesline is one of her favorite activities. Im glad she enjoys it..... I have noticed a crispness to the laundry and they just plain smell better after being hung up to dry.

I don't think I have the patience to hang each and every piece of laundry.... Much less try and fiddle with clothes pins. So I will consign myself to just folding the laundry.

XBox Time

Steven (my older brother) had to come to ask the Judge for leaniancy due to a speeding ticket he got coming over the bridge by the Northern Lights Casino.....

ADD Moment: According to the Judge the 3 Mile Stretch of Highway 20 at the bridge and casino is the most ticketed and highest revenue generating section of roadway in Washington State.... so slow down)

Anyways he brought his XBox and we played Rainbow Six Vegas 2 together for a couple of hours. We had a good time. Stacie meanwhile spent the same period of time catching up on her Blogging.

Some might think that spending time in front of the TV whether watching a show or playing video games is a waste of time. I find playing to be a good release. However I only play after the kiddo's have gone to bed. And I made a commitment to myself to only have 1 late night (after Stacie goes to bed) a week.

A Dirty and Bruised Doug Jensen

Doug is an incredible guy..... He has taken on the responsibility of gathering together a group of "Paintballers". I am a willing participant.

Yesterday... Doug, JD, and Myself ran through the woods at his folks property acting like commandos shooting at whom ever we happened to see. We all got hit, all got bruised, and had a GREAT time.

We will gather a large group together for a big outing to Goat Island toward the end of October.

Juniors Mini's Political Blog

Yesterday I posted 4 small political tidbits. Today I moved them to my Politics Blog.

http://juniorspolitics.blogspot.com/

Since politics are so polarizing, I am going to try and keep it out of this blog. This is suppose to be a fun place for others to see inside the randomness and seemingly cotton filled mind of a guy Riddled with A.D.D. For Davids serious thoughts on politics check out the other blog.

Enjoy.
